Optimar US, Inc. specializes in the design, manufacturing, and installation of stainless-steel food grade equipment for the global market. As a global supplier to the food processing industry, with expertise in onshore and onboard fish handling equipment, Optimar is continuing to target the US market focusing on growing the existing market and expand both in the US and globally.
We are currently looking for a Regional Sales Manager to join our team. The right candidate will be a dynamic and talented individual with a positive attitude. To be successful in this position you must possess a strong ability to take initiative and confidently direct customer interactions as well as be able to separate themselves in frustrating situations and guide customers to efficient solutions. In addition, this position will support projects with relevant technical issues, make arrangement drawings and coordinate needed engineering capacity to secure sales project deliveries.
Prioritized Tasks
- Successful at developing new business and leading sales cycle, from generating leads through closing.
- Generate revenue by exercising sales role in accordance with Optimar's best practice.
- Establishes and adjusts selling prices by monitoring costs, competition, and supply and demand.
- Create layouts, technical specifications, and calculations together with Head of Sales based on Optimar products.
- Always make sure that quality of the work put into sales documentation (Layouts, Calculations, Technical specifications, and Commercial documents), are always set to the highest standards to avoid unnecessary risks in project execution.
Main Responsibilities
- Identify potential market opportunities in Global Sales.
- Availability to travel as needed.
- Availability to communicate with stakeholder in different time zones.
- Responsible to follow up on technical and engineering activities within dedicated projects or tasks.
- Assist with technical documentation and arrangement drawing.
- Assist with technical issues and drawings in sales projects coming into orders.
- Update and maintain ERP and CRM systems, documentation, and future load on ongoing sales activities.
- Responsible for cost calculations and ensure profitability in line with target goals.
- Assist with technical documentation related either to products or sub-vendor activities.
- Establish travel plan and budget for own activities.
- Establish, maintain, and follow up with customers, including taking an active part in generating sales by working directly with bids and quotations in direct contact with customers.
- Actively participate in problem solving and discussions with internal and external stakeholders to find the right solution for customers and Optimar.

Skills
- Knowledge in 2D AutoCAD design, demonstrating proficiency to conduct print changes.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft products: Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, My Teams.
- Writing and presentation abilities when interacting over email, social media, video conference, or in-person.
- Must be able to communicate effectively throughout the sales cycle, from cold outreach and follow-up, to moving an opportunity along.
- Demonstrate the ability to take direction and achieve the desired outcome.
- Demonstrates attention to detail.
- Ability to be a self-starter.
- Solve issues with little or no direction.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Excellent organizational skills
- Seafood production experience is a plus.
