Group Chief Accountant
Hovedoppgaver
Due to the previous Group Chief Accountant transitioning to a new role, we are now seeking a new Group Chief Accountant to join our team.
The Group Chief Accountant will play a central role within the Optimar Group. In this role, you will have the responsibility to build and develop a strong accounting function in the company and you will work closely with the accounting and controlling team and the CFO.
The workplace will be in our premises in Valderøya, but there will be close dialogue with our subsidiaries in Spain, USA, and Romania.
The role reports to the CFO.
Main responsibilities
- Coordinate and reporting of financial data to management
- Personnel responsibility for the accounting and salary team
- Lead the budget and forecast processes
- Owner of the hour registration system and the financial module in the ERP system
- Reporting on decided KPI’s
- Be updated on changes in regulations and practices regarding accounting
Ønsket kompetanse
- Master’s or bachelor’s degree in accounting, economics, or auditing
- Minimum 5 years experience in auditing, controlling, or accounting
- Strong accounting skills, in particular project accounting and consolidation
- Strong commercial business understanding and understanding of the financial drivers within the Group
- Experience with ERP systems such as Dynamics 365 FO, Excel, and Power BI
- Good skills in both Norwegian and English language
- High working capacity and ability to work under pressure and tight deadlines
- Keen to contribute to a team that shares knowledge and plays each other well
