It is our responsibility as an organization to ensure that our employees have opportunities to develop through training, coaching and new challenges. For people to be receptive to development, it requires a good balance between work, private life, and health. Good mental health, physical activity and healthy food are important.
Giving people the right tools, experience, and training to do a proper job is important. We have a duty to ensure that we develop our people together with the company and enable them to be part of the future. We have our own academy that make sure our employees receive both mandatory training and professional development courses. Lifelong learning is important, and we aim to build a culture that promotes knowledge sharing, a desire to acquire new insights and an understanding that our changing environment also requires increased knowledge and competence.
Apprentices and trainees
Apprentices are essential to Optimar. Every year, we employ 5–10 apprentices in different fields. Apprentices receive good training and experience. They are followed up by professionals as well as our collaborative apprenticeship training offices.
Collaborating closely with high schools, vocational colleges and universities is important for our competence development and the fostering of in-house talent. To collaborate with academia and students are important to develop individuals but also the organization.
