Business Controller


Main tasks

  • Perform proactive financial analysis and follow-up of our portfolio projects
  • Assist/advise with sales analysis, calculations, and commercial terms for new projects
  • Assist in risk and uncertainty management of projects
  • Be an active and enterprising advisor for project managers and corporate management
  • Be an active challenger and driving force for good financial management
  • Contribute to improving profitability through continuous development and enhancement of project reporting, forecasts, and financial tools and assessments

Skills

  • Higher education in economics/finance
  • 3-5 years experience in project analysis and controlling or business controller from a project-based industry
  • Experience in cost estimation, budget and forecasting, financial reporting, and analysis
  • Strong commercial knowledge of business and key financial drivers for the Group
  • Experience with ERP systems such as Dynamics 365 FO, Excel, and Power BI

The position is responsible for financial analysis, control, and reporting of projects and works closely with the project managers, the sales organization, and corporate management. You will have a key role in the monthly book closure process as well as the annual budget process.

The workplace is our main office at Valderøya, but there will be close dialogue with our subsidiaries in Spain, the USA, and Romania. The position reports to the CFO.
